So, I'm going a bit..well, more than a bit crazy. I've lost it. I've been trying for WEEKS now to get the perfect background for two of my animations, and so far have failed at every and all attempt.
I hate backgrounds. I hate backgrounds. I hate backgrounds. This is why nobody does animations alone...they begin to hate backgrounds.
What if you used a gradient overlay on your favorite (but still well-hated) background? It kinda seems like they are all going to flatten your animation, which is very 3 dimensional. You know, make it transparent at the top, opaque on the bottom...tilt it backwards in aftereffects so it looks like an ephemeral plane...
DON"T do anything drastic. or I may make you clean my car...with a toothbrush!
